Storage conditions are among the most important factors that affecting coated abrasives performance, which normally perform at maximum efficiency when they are properly handled and stored.<\/span><\/p>

The backings and some of the adhesive used in the production are sensitive to climate changes and pick up or lose moisture depending on the humidity of the surrounding space. Excessive humidity may cause a glue softening, and the abrasive grain will tend to be pushed toward the backing rather than penetrate the work piece, while a lower humidity may involve a decline of the flexibility, including a difficult use of the abrasive product.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The ideal conditions for the storage are temperatures between 18 and 22 degrees, and a humidity between 45% and 65%.<\/span><\/p>

Don\u2019t lean coated abrasives on concrete floors and keep them off from other sources of dampness, as well as away from hot air ducts and heaters. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.<\/span><\/p>

<\/a> Keep products in their original packaging until the use. <\/span><\/p>

Lean jumbo rolls on their side or vertically, avoiding to overlap them.<\/span><\/p>
